1. Who owns this website

This website is owned and operated by Fundamental Designs (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2019/255158/07 (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Accepting these terms

By accessing and using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

3. What this website is

This website shows the furniture, cabinetry and shopfitting we manufacture, and lets you send us a project enquiry or apply for a trade account. It is not an online shop — you cannot place an order or make a payment here.

If you have a project, send us an enquiry and we will come back with questions, a timeline and a quotation. An order only exists once you have accepted a written quotation from us. Orders are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

4. Trade accounts

A trade account is for architects, interior designers, procurement agents, retailers and other businesses that specify, source or resell what we make. It registers your business with us so that we can work with you on your clients’ projects. It is not a discount scheme: the price that applies to any project is the price in your written quotation.

Applying does not commit you to anything, and there is no minimum spend. An account is only open once we have confirmed your business details and sent you your account terms in writing. We may decline an application, or close an account, at our discretion.

We do not offer credit. All work is paid for on the terms set out in your quotation.

5. Photographs, descriptions and prices

• The projects and photographs on this site are a record of previous work, most of it built to a designer’s or architect’s drawings. They show what we are capable of, not a catalogue of items for sale.
• Where a project was designed by an interior designer, architect or shopfitter, we credit them. If a credit is missing or wrong, please tell us.
• Some projects are shown without naming the client or the location. Where that is the case, it is at the client’s request.
• We work in solid timber, veneer, steel and cast concrete, all of which vary naturally in colour, grain and finish. Photographs are a guide, not an exact representation of what you will receive.
• We do not publish prices on this site. The price that applies to your project is the price in your written quotation.

6. Sending us drawings and project information

When you send us drawings, specifications or other material through this site or by email, you confirm that you are entitled to share it with us for the purpose of obtaining a quotation. We will treat it as confidential and use it only to assess and quote for your project. Drawings remain the property of whoever created them.

7. Our intellectual property

The photographs, text, drawings, designs, logos and layout on this website belong to us or to the photographers, designers and architects who created them. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use any of it commercially without our written permission.

You are welcome to save or share images for your own private, non-commercial use — for a mood board, a client presentation, or to show someone what you are considering.

8. Accuracy and availability

We take care to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.

9. Links to other websites

Where we link to another website — including our Providence Outdoor Furniture site and our social media pages — we do so for convenience. Other than our own sites, we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

10. Your privacy

How we handle the information you send us through this website is set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. Please check it from time to time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
